Microchip Identification

A tiny microchip can be implanted between the shoulder blades of your dog or cat as a permanent means of identification. The procedure is similar to giving a vaccination and does not require sedation. The Belleville Area Humane Society, St. Clair County Animal Control, and Madison County Humane Society all have the capacity to scan lost dogs and cats for these microchips.
