I really miss your soft fur, And your
smiling puppy face
We had a good and happy time, We had
a good run
Even though I can't see you, That
doesn't mean the fun is done
I'll smile up at the sky, Knowing
that you're there
I'll see your face in the clouds, And
feel you in the air
You may be up in Heaven, But you'll
always be my friend

All the fondest memories, Filling up
inside my head
To others you may be, but to me your

I have some fur clippings, And your
old chew toys
I also have your training leash,
They'll always bring me joy
The ones you left behind, Are never
really far
If I want to see you, I'll look at
the brightest star
You were more than just a dog,
And you always will be
Everyone agrees, You were part of the
family
I know that I can't pet you, Or see
your welcoming smile
One day I'll get to see you, I only

The sun may burn out, And the days

People and pets come and go, And that
